Mintel - Clothing Retail UK 2012 - Infographic

  1. This infographic taken from Mintel's 2012 Clothing Retailing UK report is a signaficant piece of secondary research. It looks at New Look's clothing market share of consumer spending which at the time of this report was 2.8%, making the retailer one of the leading brands in the UK clothing market, proving it has a strong position especially when 2010 and 2011 saw retailers go in to administration including Jane Norman and the Peacock group.

    This infographic also gives an overview of buying online and buying instore, proving that 10% of clothing is sold online as buying instore is still the most favoured way to shop.

    It has also shown that consumer buying habits is hugely affected by the weather.
